Virginia Louise (Lucarelli) Schaffer
Age 72, passed peacefully on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Daughter of late Anna Mae and Virgil Lucarelli. Stepdaughter of Marie Lucarelli. Loving wife of Edward Schaffer. Mother of Jeffrey (Bunny) Schaffer and Jeanni (Keith) Postlethwait. Grandmother of Brandon Postlethwait and Jeffrey and Macey Schaffer. Great grandmother of Cameron and Tristan. Sister of Janice (Jerry) Malys, Ann (Jeff) Smith, Tina (Bill) Savich, Jim (Helen) Lucarelli, Lisa (Tom) Cafardi, and the late Virgil and Laure Boden. Sister-in-law of Lorraine (Bob) Loeffler, Carol (George) Marchetti, and late Ron (Arlene) Schaffer. Nieces/Nephews: John and Susan Malys, Elizabeth and Justin Smith, late Jeffrey Smith, Bill (Tina) Savich, Haylee (Jerry) Cardello, Jeremy Boden, Marty Kirsch, Kristy (Paul) Eisel and Shawn Cafardi, Jennifer H. and Joshua Wright, and James Lucarelli. Please follow CDC guidelines for gatherings of 25 people and no children under 18 years old, visitation will be held at Boron Funeral Home. Inc., 1719 Brownsville Road on Saturday from 2-4 PM and 7 PM until her prayer services at 8:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Wounded Warrior Project in Ginny's honor. Ginny's spent her free time fishing with her closest friends and family. Ginny was the bright and shining star in all of our lives. Her infectious laugh and smile made her the center of attention and life of the party at every occasion. She was a resilient warrior that faced every battle head on and she fought for what she believed in. Ginny's kindness, compassion, selflessness and acceptance of everyone she met will be sadly missed. We love you so much Ginny Lou, Mom, Gram, Great Gram, Aunt Gin!! You are forever in our hearts!!
