Robert W. Sehn

Age 92,  on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, of Baldwin Borough. Loving husband for 67 years to Joan (Klein) Sehn. Devoted father of Beth Ann Rzodkiewicz and Kathryn (Richard) Geist. Grandfather of Max (Alyse), Grace (Alex Kemmler), and Oscar Rzodkiewicz, and Lillian Geist. Son of the late William and Anna Sehn.  Survived by cousins who were like siblings, Sr. Elise Renk, Edward Renk, and Trudy Hartnett.  Also survived by sister-in-law Alice Bogdanski and numerous and loving nieces and nephews. Bob graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in Mt. Oliver before serving his country in the US Army 88th Division and is a veteran of the Korean Conflict.  He was a proud member of VFW Post 1810, Knights of Columbus Gilmary Council  3868, Telephone Pioneers of America and the Communication Workers of America Union.  Bob retired from AT&T after 32 years of devoted service.  His favorite past times included bowling with the St. Sylvester’s Geritol League, attending church regularly, whistling and singing, and making people laugh and smile.  Bob’s happy-go-lucky nature was shared with many and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. There will be no visitation.  Bob and Joan will be remembered at a Mass on June 19, 2021 at 10:30 am at the Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great Church.  Pending unchanged COVID-19 restrictions, all masked attendees will be welcome and social distancing rules will be in place.  In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Light of Life Rescue Mission.    Arrangements entrusted to our friends at Boron Funeral Home, Inc. 412-882-1506.
