Kenneth A. Scherer  
Age 89, on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 of Pittsburgh. Father of Catherine M. (Paul) Pietropaolo, Caroline A. (Larry) Perkins of AZ, Maria P. Scherer (John Petrella) of MS, and the late Michael K. Scherer USN. Grandfather of Katie Lynn Scherer. Brother of the late John H., Charles E. Jr., Rev. Richard P., and William F. Scherer, and Jean Mosesso.  Dear friend of Patricia Doherty. Visitations Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Boron Funeral Home, Inc., 1719 Brownsville Road. Please meet in Divine Mercy Parish at Epiphany Church on Thursday at 10 AM for his Mass of Christian Burial. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Divine Mercy Parish Endowment Fund. Ken was a 1st Lieutenant in the US Army and served as spokesman for Duquesne Light for 29+ years. Ken was known as "Mr. Epiphany".
