Brian Hatlas Obituary

Fiercely loyal and devoted to family and friends, Brian Lee Hatlas, 31, of West Mifflin died of unknown causes on July 24, 2021. Left to celebrate his life are his parents, John and Lynne (Dripps) Hatlas, his brother, John “Jesse” Hatlas along with his grandfather Samuel Dripps, uncle Douglas Dripps, aunts Ruth Ann Carey, Mary Ledbetter, Jean (Michael) McCarnan, and cousins Yolanda Craig, Angela (Jason) Bujnowski and Michael McCarnan.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother Lois Dripps, uncle Lee J. Dripps, grandparents John and Ruth Hatlas and uncle Bruce Carey.

Brian was a proud garbage collector, gamer and champion for all underdogs. He didn’t tolerate bullying, always defending anyone in need. He loved fishing, team sports, boxing matches and music, particularly heavy metal. He was a good friend and, in turn, his friends were good and helpful to him.
