Walter M. Popatak
Age 94, Peacefully on Thanksgiving Day, of Baldwin. Walt entered eternal rest. He was a proud Marine Veteran and Purple Heart recipient during WWII. Walt is survived by his Wife Eleanor. Daughters, Cheryl, Cindy (Gordon) Hanczar and Son, Greg (Marie) Popatak. Very proud Pap-Pap of McKenzie and Gregory Popatak and Jacob Hanczar. Also survived by his Sister, RoseAnn (John) Bohonak, numerous Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews and Great-Great Nieces and Nephews. Walt was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Frank and sisters Jean (Flit) and Mary (Balco). Special thanks to Elmcroft of Allison Park and VITAS Hospice for their care and compassion over the last few months. Visitations on Wednesday 10 AM until his Funeral Services at 12 NOON at the Boron Funeral Home Inc. 1719 Brownsville Road. Burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with rendering of full military honors. Donations can be made Toys for Tots.
