Victoria L. (Laustino) McDermott
Age 91, formerly of Carrick, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2016 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late John P. McDermott. Loving Mother of Karen (Willard) Martin and David (LuAnn) McDermott. Devoted Grandmother of Katie (Steve) Mcintyre and Benjamin Martin. Great Grandmother of Ella Victoria Mcintyre. She was preceded in death by her father, Vincent Laustino, her mother and stepfather, Margaretta and Anthony Terbey and her sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Lewis Vossberg. The family wishes to thank the staff of Marian Manor Nursing Home and the Sisters of the Holy Spirit for the loving care shown to their mother over the past eight years. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 24 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Boron Funeral Home Inc. 1719 Brownsville Road, Carrick. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 25 at 10 AM in St. Basil Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Sister Eileen Caring Fund" to benefit Marian Manor Nursing Home, 2695 Winchester Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 or to St. Basil Church.
