Sharon " Shorty" Arrington , 62 of Pittsburgh transitioned peacefully September 10th, 2023 surrounded by her loving children and granddaughter Terajai. She was well-known as the life of the party and loved by everyone she encountered. A loving mother, dedicated friend, and matron. She was received in heaven by her son Anthony McCray, her mother Mary Mike, brothers Ted and Ishmael, sister Melanie; as well as a host of friends turned family, including her sisters Linda Riley, Doreen Vaughn, Kimberly Campbell & Joan Brown. Her legacy continues here with her children Dwonne (Debra) Arrington, Chenea Arrington, and Brandi McCray. Grandchildren Terajai, Emanuel, Freedom, Nadia, and Javonni and Jaivien DeVito. She's also lovingly remembered by extended family, and friends turned family. Siblings, brother Homer Miller, sister by heart Denise Williams, sons Mackenzie and Randolph McCray and many nieces, nephews and other loved ones from all walks of life. Her personality and spirit brightened up every room she entered and she will be deeply missed.&
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, October, 28, 2023 from 1- 4 PM at the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick.
