Beloved husband of Loretta C. (Coward) Posch.

Loving father of Lisa (John) Morgan and Steven Posch.

Grandfather of Kyle and Kaitlyn.

Brother of Sylvia Motta, Joyce West and the late Frank Posch, Betty Readshaw, and Gene Brown.

Russell was a Sergeant for 25 years for the School Safety Patrol for Bethel Park. He pursued his career as a controller for Isaly's and Meadowbrook Dairy. He enjoyed golf and really loved to play tennis. Russell will be missed for his wit and sense of humor; he liked to compose poetry and make it humorous. He had a passion for education and used it to help many people along the way. He characterized himself as a "stubborn old German but very likeable".

Russell served as a Corporal for the United States Army during Korean War.

Family and friends received Sunday from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11 AM.
