Ronald A. Pfaff&
Age 82, passed away of a broken heart on July 23, 2017 at his home in South Baldwin, PA. He was born on July 20, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA to Reinhold and Mildred Dubinshak Pfaff. Ron grew up in Carrick, PA. He graduated from Carrick High School in 1953, while he worked at Isaly's. After high school, he worked for 44 years at Pittsburgh Gear. Ron married the love of his life Suzanne Staab in 1956 in Carrick. They were happily married for 60 years. Ron was a member of St. Germaine Church. He enjoyed bowling, playing ball with the kids, coaching basketball, woodworking, and spending time with his family, which he was so very proud. Ron is survived by his children Daniel (Rosemary), Kathleen (Edward) McVay, Jeffrey, Richard (Patricia), Sally (Michael) Flinn; his sisters Millie (Dale) Pinkerton and Carol Bozzo; his brother Rich (Linda); his grandchildren, Shawn (Jessica), Shannon (Joshua), Brandon (Corrine), Brittany (Timothy), Troy, Rachel, Blaise, Jordan, Olivia, Damian, Jessica, Brody, Delaney; his great-grandchild, Jameson; and his cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Reinhold and Mildred; and his wife, Suzanne. Visitations on Wednesday 2-8 PM at the Boron Funeral Home, Inc. , 1719 Brownsville Road. Please meet in St. Germaine Church, 7003 Baptist Road for his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10AM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park, 301 Curry Hollow Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Healthcare@Home Home Health, Hospice and Palliative Care for their support in his final days.
