Grandpa to Quint, Dylan, Danny, Christie, Nikki, Rob and Helen.
Loving Brother to Virginia Patter and Frank Platt.
Husband to deceased first wife Roberta.
Son of the late Norman and Margaret Young.
Robert served in the Marines, after which he joined the Allegheny County Police. Bob gave many years of service to the Allegheny County Police Association, serving as President and on the Board of Directors. He was also involved with the FOP #91.
Friends received at the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM and Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 12 Noon at the Brentwood Presbyterian Church, 3725 Brownsville Road Brentwood. (EVERYONE MEET AT THE CHURCH).
