Age 85, on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Wife of the late Thomas Ross. Mother of Linda (Fred) Episcopo, James (Connie)Ross, and John (Phyllis) Ross. Grandmother of Ashley, Britteny, Anthony, Cayla, Chris, Stephanie, Benjamin, Zachery, and Gregory. Great Grandmother of Abigail, Zari, Lena, and two on the way. Sister of Audrey Burkhart, Anthony Lipinski, and the late Dolores Rattay, Lillain Belajac, Evelyn Wolfe, and Kenneth Lipinski. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great great nieces and great great nephews.Rita worked for 35 years at South Side Hospital. She volunteered with the Christian Mothers at St. Peter's Church on the South Side and at the South Side Senior Citizens Center. She received a volunteer award from Allegheny County for her dedication to Senior Citizens. She was loved by all. Visitations Sunday 2-7 PM at the Boron Funeral Home, Inc. , 1719 Brownsville Road, where relatives and friends are invited to attend her Services on Monday at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Baptist Home Foundation Employee Appreciation Fund, 489 Castle Shannon Boulevard, Pittsburgh PA 15234.
