Richie retired after working 40 years at the Shuman Center, served as a Sgt. US Army during the Vietnam War. He loved baking his pies, especially Pumpkin, working in the garden, going to the casino and his PA Lottery Scratch Tickets. Richie was a devoted family man. He loved his wife, sons, daughter-in laws, but his greatest love was for his grandchildren, when you would talk about any of them it would bring a smile to his face and a glistening to his eyes.
