Beloved husband of Roberta Ann (Wilhelm) Valentine.
Loving father of Robert (Laura) Valentine, Marcy (Edward) Sloan, Richard (Jennifer) Valentine and the late Rayanne Valentine.
Cherished grandfather of Jessica, Katy, Kara, Zack, Becky, Dominic, Emma, Mercedes, Madison, Michael, Destiny and Kally.
Great grandfather Gabriella, Isabella, Stephan, Kaden, Jeannetta, Nixon and Anastasia.
Brother of George (Mary) Valentine, Celia "Sis" (Michael) Landon, Phyllis (Dale) Richardson, Casey (Jack) Schmidt and Paul (Francine) Valentine.
Brother in law of Janet (Peter) Talak.
Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and his fur baby Poppy.
Richard was a long standing member of 49 years of the Dallas Lodge #231 F. & A. M., member of the Scottish Rite, member of the Holy Angels Parish and volunteer at the St. Paul of The Cross Monastery Food Bank.
Visitation and Service will be private.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Angels Parish at a later date.
