Richard "Rick" Busby, Aka "Mr. Smacky" age 85, on Monday, September 18, 2023 &of Mt. Oliver.

Son of the late Cecil and Edith (Leinger) Busby.

Cherished father of Daniel (Kathy) Busby, Robin (John) Piotrowski, Greg (Mischelle) Busby, Pamela Collins and the late Barbara Busby.

Grandfather of twelve and numerous great grandchildren

Brother of the late Jean Klotz, Mildred Linnert, William, James and David Busby.

Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Rick proudly served in the US Navy, Member of VFW Post 1810, Italian American War Vets Post 30, the American Legion, Vietnam Veterans Inc. and Master at Arms Navy Club USA Ship #720 for over 12 years. Smacky was a member of the Tri River Clowns for over 50 years and Clown Emeritus to Sharing and Caring.

Family and friends received Friday, September 22, 2023, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 10:00 AM in the Christ Community Church, 900 Chartiers Ave. McKees Rocks, PA 15136.

Interment National Cemetery of The Alleghenies with full Military Honors, on Thursday September 28, 2023, at 1:30 PM.
