Phyllis A. (Houston) Shaw

On June 19th Phyllis Shaw, of Shadyside, passed away in her home after a long and wonderful life. Phyllis was the beloved daughter of the late John and Ada Houston. Mother of Kimberly Barron and Leslie (Jim) Weber. Grandmother of Courtney and Jacob Winger, Allison and Oskar Mossberg, and Madison and Will Witte. Adoring Great Grandmother of Griffin Winger. A private family burial will be held at Penn Forest Natural Burial Park as Phyllis' wish to have a green burial. A celebration of life for Phyllis will be held on August 1 from 2-4 PM at the home of Leslie and Jim Weber. Phyllis worked at Bell Telephone/Verizon for many years. She loved her fur babies Zoe and Poppy. In her honor donations can be made to Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh.
