Paul R. Shuminsky

Age 82, passed away peacefully after many years dealing with dementia, on Friday, May 2, 2025, of Carrick. He was the beloved husband for 53 years to Kathleen (Jasinaki) Shuminsky. Father of Robert (Kathy) Shuminsky and Mary (Dean) Vettiere. Grandfather of Connor, Brayah, Lexie and Cayde. Son of the late Charles and Rita Shuminsky. Brother of Richard and the late John and Patricia Mead. Also survived by many Nieces and Nephews. Paul served in the army and worked at LTV steel for 22 years. He took pride in his backup job in painting businesses and houses. He enjoyed volunteering at St. John the Baptist Ukranian Catholic Church making pierogies. Visitations will be held on Wednesday from 2-8 PM at the Boron Funeral Home, located at 1719 Brownsville Road. Funeral prayers are scheduled for Thursday at 10 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Basil Church of Blessed Trinity Parish at 10:30 AM. Paul will be laid to rest at South Side Cemetery.
