IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia A.
Muehlbauer
May 22, 1945 – October 11, 2025
Patricia "Pat" Muehlbauer
Passed away at her home in Southside, Pittsburgh PA on Saturday with loved ones by her side. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, aunt, sister, cousin, and cherished friend to countless people.
Some of Pat's fondest memories include spending many summers with her family at the Youghiogheny lake, keeping up with the various successes of both her children and grandchildren, spending time with family and the multitude of friends she had, along with volunteering her time at St. Paul of the Cross Monastery-singing with the choir, assisting with fundraisers, and helping in the office.
Pat taught French for several years at Pittsburgh Public Schools. She was a poet, artist, and a published author who touched the lives of those around her with warmth, creativity, and grace.
The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of support and love shown during her final weeks.
Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Milton "Mickey" Muehlbauer; her mother, Dolores Maines (née Manning) and father Jack; and her sisters Lorraine Swazuk, Maureen Sullivan, as well as her brother-in-law Thomas Murtha, and her son-in-law Frank Riley.
She is survived by her loving children: Kerry (Frank) Riley, Coleen (Joe) Leming, Jon (Melanie) Muehlbauer, Kathy (Wayne) Voss, Eileen Buchheit, and Paul (Autumn) Muehlbauer, and her adopted daughter Tricia (Gary) Grzeczka.
She is also survived by her siblings: Thomas (Rita) Maines, Frances (Jerry) LaSalvia, Kathleen (Mike) Mincin, and Martin (Kelly) Maines, and Dolores (Thomas) Murtha. As well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Pat was the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Beckett Lee.
