Michael James Buchert

Age 58, on Thursday, October 9, 2025, formerly of Whitehall. Son of the late Ronald and Gale Buchert. Survived by his children Dakota, Michael, Nico, and Abby. Brother of Glen Buchert and Crystal (Bill) Hoover. Uncle of Marabelle and Billie. Michael faced various challenges in life, however he found support in the Adult and Teen Challenge group. There Michael made the decision to positively reform his life. Following the change he dedicated his time to being a supportive counselor to others at the Adult and Teen Challenge. Michael also enjoyed fishing and was a lover of animals. He took in strays and was a father to many kittens. He was an avid Steeler fan and in memory of Michael, the family invites those attending visitation to wear their own Steeler gear.

Visitations Friday October 17 from 5-8 pm at Boron Funeral Home, Inc. 1719 Brownsville Road.

In lieu of flowers, Michael's family request donations be made to the Adult and Teen Challenge in his name.
