Daughter of the late John and Martha (Chathams) Godfrey.

Wife of the late Lawrence A. "Larry" Gibson

Cherished mother of Larry J. Gibson, Johnny; his wife Angela Gibson and Melody Wallace.

Loving grandmother of Kayla and Danielle Gibson and Dusty Wallace.

Family and friends received Friday 2-8 PM at the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick, where a Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10:00& AM with Rev. Dylan Parson and Rev. Jack Piper officiating.

Interment Jefferson Memorial Park.

Marlene was devoted to her church, helped out anyone that she could. Was involved with the Sunshine Girls, Red Hats Society and the Bunko Girls. Her passions werebaking, cooking, loved dancing and music,but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.
