Age 95, of Pittsburgh, passed in Portage PA on Saturday, June 22, 2019. Wife of James S. Salamony for 69 years. Mother of Keith (Kathleen) Salamony of Pittsburgh, Loraine (Steve) Nolder Shedlock of Portage, Ruth (C. James) Jorgensen of Somerset, Thomas Salamony of Pittsburgh, and Sharon (Stephen) Duffin of Mokena, Il. Grandmother of Timothy (Brittany) Nolder of Pittsburgh, Kelly Nolder (Shane) Walsh of Somerset, Kim Salamony (David) Warzinski of Pittsburgh, Kristin Salamony of Pittsburgh, Aaron Jorgensen of Somerset, Tyler Jorgensen of Somerset, Sean Duffin of Mokena, Il, and Kevin Duffin of Mokena, Il. Great Grandmother of Logan Walsh of Somerset, Scarlett Walsh of Somerset, Clara Warzinski of Pittsburgh and Erica Warzinski of Pittsburgh. Sister of Sr. Agnes Steedle S.C. Sister-in-law of Betty (Salamony) Rambo and Robert (Gloria) Barr. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles J. and Bertha (McGervey) Steedle and siblings, Baby Charles, Charles V, Leo (Susan), Joseph (Margaret), James (Katherine), Elizabeth (Fred) McCool, Mary (Louis) Fleet, Catherine (Edward Byers, and Bertha (John) Paunovic. Also survived by countless nieces and nephews. She was employed by Dravo (Pittsburgh) as a secretary from 1942 - 1950, a clerk in Kaufmann's Department Store in the 1960's, and as the Executive Secretary at Combustion Institute in Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh until her retirement in 1994. She was a member since 1954 of St. Albert the Great and Holy Apostles Parishes in Baldwin. A 1942 graduate of Langley High School, she also attended the University of Pittsburgh. Marge enjoyed working, travel, sewing, bingo, and the casino. Visitations Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Boron Funeral Home, Inc. , 1719 Brownsville Road. Funeral Prayers on Wednesday at 9:45 AM. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish at St. Albert the Great Church at 10:30 AM. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
