Mara Kimberly Kline

Mara Kimberly Kline (age 40) passed away suddenly on September 18th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.& Having been born in Havre de Grace, MD, she grew up in the Town of North East, MD where she loved dance, and playing softball and soccer in high school. Mara spent most of her adult life in the Pittsburgh area, raising the pride and joy of her life, her son Mica. Together they navigated through life as a team and were always each other's greatest strength.

Mara graduated from St. Vincent College with a BS in Psychology with a focus on Autism. She had a huge heart and loved that she was working with students with special needs at Carmalt Middle School. She built a vast group of dear friends across the country in the Pinball, Phish and Foosball communities where she will be dearly missed. She and former partner Joe Veltri opened the popular Kickback Pinball Cafe in Lawrenceville in May of 2013. She traveled around the world attending Phish concerts and she loved to get her glitter on and dance to the funk! From a young child, she learned to play foosball and enjoyed playing competitively at family parties and gatherings. She was never one to give in or give up easily.

She is survived by her beloved son, Mica, her sister Melissa (Caitlin), her parents Martha and Michael, and former husband/business partner Joe Veltri. Celebrations of her life will be held at a later date in both Pittsburgh and North East, MD.
