Madeline J. Rakaczky

On December 24, 2023, at age 97, a family lost a loving, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Madeline was born in the town of Boyers PA to parents, Vincenzo "James" Faggaini/FaJohn and& Donatella "Marie" (Diana) FaJohn and lived her life between Pittsburgh and Butler. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest A. Rakaczky, Sr., her son, Ernest A. Rakaczky, Jr., as well as her seven brothers, Carl, Richard, Ardent, Celestine, Domenic, Archie and Arthur and her 3 sisters, Sophia (Kopczewski), Adeline (Panei), and Regina FaJohn. She is survived by her sister, Violet Fleeger, as well as by her daughter, Victoria (Mark) Seamon and son, Charles (Suzan) Rakaczky. She was a proud grandmother to Erik, Tara, Sara, Vanessa, Alexis, Charlotte, Charles, Jr., Nicholas, and Alexander. She is also loved by ten loving great-grandchildren: Kathleen, Neila, Liadan, Eamonn, Jasper, Tabitha, Flora, Ellis, Van, and Bennett. Madeline also had many loving nieces and nephews.

Mom, Madeline, Grandma Madeline, Aunt Maddie, or just Maddie was known to all her friends and family as a terrific cook, with lasagna being her specialty. She loved to share food and gifts with her family and friends. Rest in peace to the kindest of hearts, our beloved Madeline.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, January 3rd from 4-8 PM at Boron Funeral Home, Inc ., 1719 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh (412-882-1506). Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 AM at Blessed Trinity Parish – St. Basil's Church.
