Leonard M. Wassel, age 87 on Monday, March 6, 2023, formerly of Crafton.

Son of the late Joseph and Anne (Stmbak) Wassel.

Beloved brother of Jerome Wassel and the late Stanley Wassel, Eleanor Bochek, Joseph Wassel, Frank Wassel and Paul Wassel.

Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Good friend of Malcolm Harter.

Leonard served in the US Army during the Korean War, received a Chemistry Degree from the University of Pittsburgh and Masters Degree from the University of Purdue. Leonard was also an avid reader and book collector.

Visitations will be held Tuesday March 14, 2023 from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM at the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick, followed by

Interment The National Cemetery of The Alleghenies with Military Honors.
