Lawrence G. Harms, age 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, of Baldwin Boro.
Devoted son of the late Gilbert F. and Margaret M. Harms.
Beloved husband of the late Harriet "Jane" Harms for 52 wonderful years.
Loving father of Michael J. (Carmela) Harms, Lauren (Daniel Lee) Harms, Samantha Harms and the late James G. Harms.
Special "Pap" to Jim, Zach, Cassidy and Bea.
Cherished brother of Mary Ann "Mimi" (the late Lenny) Sobieszczyk.
Beloved brother-in-law of Michael (Mary Lou) Corbett, Joyce Schreibeis and John Steele.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.&
Larry proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp. He was retired from the Port Authority after 25 years of service. He was a proud member of Amalgamated Transit Union, Local #85. Larry was genuinely "A really great guy" and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
