With hearts full of gratitude and sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Kim Neff Lapp (née Hollis), 68, of Pittsburgh.

Kim was the cherished wife of the late Ed Lapp of Dravosburg; a proud and loving mother to her daughters, Christie Miller (Chris) and Stacey Hewitt (Tom). But it was her role as a doting 'Glamma" to Isabelle, Juliet, Grayson, and Scarlett that she cherished most of all. Kimmy was a devoted sister, the most fun aunt, cousin, and generous friend to so, so many.

Born and raised in West View, Kim was the second child (and only daughter) of Jim and Arlene Hollis. Having three brothers at home, she spent her early years surrounding herself with a tight circle of amazing girlfriends, many of whom remained by her side until the very end. A woman of extraordinary beauty, strength, and independence, she lived her life as a force of nature- unyielding, loving, and most certainly unforgettable.

Anyone who knew Kim knew that she never missed an opportunity to have fun. Whether it be at a family party, the bingo hall, the bowling alley, or gathering around the table for a spirited card game, she had a remarkable way of making every moment memorable. She always encouraged others to laugh a little louder, sing a little longer, and love a little more fiercely. And if life threw you a curveball, Kim was the friend you could count on to reach out and support you through thick and thin, regardless of the sacrifice.

Kim Hollis Neff Lapp- you were a one of a kind woman. Your selflessness, warmth, and effervescent spirit will be remembered forever by those who knew and adored you. You are already so deeply missed, but we know that you and Ed are together dancing next to a winning slot machine in the sky.

A celebration of Kim's fabulous life will be held at a time and place to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, Kim would have loved for you to call up an old friend, take extra care of your nail tech, and play your lucky numbers in her honor.
