Kenneth Francis Pfeil

Age 94 of Brentwood passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Janet (Kappeler) Pfeil. Loving father of Karen (Kevin) McCollum and Kenneth P. (Charla) Pfeil, Sr. Devoted grandfather of Megan McCollum, Kenneth P. Pfeil, Jr. and Karina Pfeil. Son of the late Wilbur and Luella Pfeil. A proud Korean War veteran, Ken served in the U.S. Army where he was stationed with the Med Co, 224th Infantry Regiment. He enjoyed hunting, tinkering and spending time with his family. Family and friends will be received at Boron Funeral Home, 1719 Brownsville Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15210, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, March 11. A Blessing Service will be celebrated at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 12. Interment with military honors will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a Veterans Association or an Animal Charity of ones choice.
