Kathleen (O'Brien) Bissell
Age 97, formerly of Wexford PA, died on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in Greenville SC. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, W. Robert (Bob) Bissell. She is survived by her son, John M. Bissell (Jane Chambers) of Greenville, SC and daughter Clare E. Kane of Hollywood, FL. She is also survived by two grandsons and five great-grandchildren. Kathleen was born in Pittsburgh and grew up in Mt. Oliver. She attended St. Canice school in Knoxville and Carrick High School. She was a resident of Lighthouse Point, FL and then Port St. Lucie, FL since 1973 after moving from Wexford. In 2013 she moved to Greenville, SC near her son, John and his wife, Jane Chambers. Mrs. Bissell retired in 1984 from First Federal of Broward where she was an Operations Officer. Visitation from 9 to 10 AM on Monday at Boron Funeral Home, Inc., 1719 Brownsville Road, Carrick. Mass to follow at 10:30AM in Holy Apostles Parish at St. Basil Church, 1735 Brownsville Road. A burial service will follow in St. John Vianney Cemetery, 920 Brownsville Road.
