Father of Donna Walters (Erik Long), Joelle Neff (Jason), and the late Tracy Schmitt. Grandfather of Mark Maggio, John (Patty) Maggio, Garrett Schmitt, Bobby (Jennifer) Crail, Hayley Neff, Casey (KK) Neff, Nate Neff, Jesse Neff. Great Grandfather of Austen, Anthony and Kole. John was a longtime member of the Allegheny County Sportsman League. Relatives and friends are welcome on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Boron Funeral Home Inc. 1719 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15210. Funeral Prayers on Saturday at 10 AM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Basil Church of Blessed Trinity Parish at 10:30 AM. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society .
