IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joan K
(Klein) Sehn
May 2, 2021
Joan K. Sehn
Age 89, on Sunday, May 2, 2021, of Baldwin Borough.& Loving wife, for 68 years to the day, to Robert (Bob) Sehn, deceased December 8, 2020. Devoted mother to Beth Ann Rzodkiewicz and Kathy (Richard) Geist. Caring grandmother of Max (Alyse), Grace (Alex Kemmler), and Oscar Rzodkiewicz and Lily Geist. Daughter of the late Bernard and Catherine Klein. Survived by sister, Alice Bogdanski and preceded in death by Frank Bogdanski, brother-in-law, Bernard and Mildred Klein (brother and wife) and nephews Wayne Bogdanski and Michael Klein. Prayerfully remembered by Sister Elise Renk, cousin of Bob. Joan was survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews of several generations who showed her unconditional kindness. Joan graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Mt. Oliver where she took Bob to her senior prom and the rest is history. After his military deployment they married and settled in Baldwin where she stayed home and raised their children. Joan volunteered at St. Albert the Great school until taking a job with Baldwin Borough. Upon retirement the couple traveled to Hawaii, Alaska, Europe and many times to Chicago and Saint Paul to visit their daughter. In her day, Joan loved to bowl, garden, shop and sing. She led the bowling league's impromptu singing performances along with her sister Alice as Alto. Most of all, Joan loved Bob. It is so befitting that they are joined again, in God's presence, on their 68th wedding anniversary. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Bob and Joan will be remembered at a Mass on June 19, 2021 at 10:30 am at the Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great Church. Pending unchanged COVID-19 restrictions, all masked attendees will be welcome and social distancing rules will be in place. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Light of Life Rescue Mission. Arrangements entrusted to our friends at
