Joan E. (Theiss) Freund
Age 85, on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, of Carrick, formerly of Allentown. Beloved Wife of the late Regis Freund Jr. Cherished Mother of Linda (Tim) Marks, Joni (Bob) Catalano and the late Regis, Robert (Marilyn) and Richard (Kathryn) Freund. Grandmother/"G-Ma" of Karin (Brandon), Brian (Kelly), Scott (Crystal), Melissa, Brittany, Robert Jr., Robert, Kristin (Robert), Chelsey (Jeff), and Amber (Jeff) and 19 Great Grandchildren with 1 expected. Visitations Friday 4-8 PM at the Boron Funeral Home Inc., 1719 Brownsville Road. Funeral Prayers on Saturday at 10 AM. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish at St. Basil Church at 10:30 AM. Joan was a very active member of the Ladies of Charity at St. Mary of the Mount and Holy Apostles Churches, was an avid bingo player, and enjoyed the theater. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Holy Apostles Ladies of Charity, 3198 Schieck Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15227 or a charity of your choice.
