Wife of the late August. W. Frisch.
Janet will be remembered by many family members and friends. Stepchildren William E. (Janet Lee) Frisch, Donna Bernhardy, Timothy M. (Linda) Frisch and the late August Wilbert Frisch and Patricia (survived by Richard) Kraft. Aunt Veronica (Bodner) Lucas, Cousins: Arlene Kendzierski, Janie Kovacs, Rick (Deb) Bodner, Sue Graham, Cindy Crousey, Jen (Paul) Cirillo, Lisa (Chuck) Stetor, Dan (Cassandra) Bodner, Debbie (Bob) Kahl, Marie (Larry) Schultz, Chuck Bodner, Cheryl (Bob) Harshman, Kenny Luptak, Rick Woods, Donna (Kevin) Ondo, Sherri Young, Terri (Frank) Smith.
Janet was raised in Baldwin as an only child in a home built by her parents. When she grew up, she worked for Fisher Scientific for many years. She later met August Frisch through piano lessons - he was her teacher. They fell in love, and after they married, Janet loved Augie's musical talent and involvement with the symphony also. They did some traveling together, and she truly enjoyed that. Janet was a warm, wonderful person with a big heart for others. She was always giving of her time and talent to friends and family on birthdays, holidays, and just anytime sending cards, making phone calls, and giving gifts. She helped with church rummage sales, visited those in the hospital or nursing homes, and was very involved with the Baldwin Historical Society. She was a faithful parishioner of her church, Stewart Avenue Lutheran Church. Whenever a need emerged, she was there to help. She took special care of her dear parents, William and Elizabeth, as they grew older, and later her precious husband Augie. She always reached out to those in need - she was truly a kind soul. Janet had many interests such as reading, gardening, baking, history, music, and all things cultural. She loved learning the Bible and church history. She touched so many lives, and she was a blessing to those who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank Oakleaf Nursing Home and Norbert Nursing Home for the care they gave to Janet for the last few years. A very special thanks to Bill and Janet Frisch for helping Janet in so many ways and ensuring she was cared for and comfortable over the last few years. Thanks also to Bonnie Stoker, Janet's lifelong friend, for all the ways she went above and beyond in showing kindness to Janet, and many other friends and neighbors who also showed her kindness.
