James V. "Cookie" McElhone

Age 91, on Friday, May 1, 2020. Husband of the late Doris J. (Fennell) McElhone, loving wife and best friend. Father of Timothy M. (Joan) and William J. McElhone. Grandfather of Michael (Gina), Timothy (Erica), Sean (Jenna) McElhone and Christie (Morgan) Hardesty. Great Grandfather of Aubrey, Aria, Harper, Zachary, Marek, Timothy, Vincenzo, Hailey, Hannah, Christian, Alana, Callen, and Roman. Brother of the late Betty Fischer and Thomas R. McElhone. Mr. McElhone was a retired Captain and member of the Pittsburgh Firefighters Union, Local 1, a WWII Marine Corps 2nd Division Veteran, and former manager of the Pittsburgh Firefighters Federal Credit Union. Visitations Monday 2-6 PM at the Boron Funeral Home, Inc. 1719 Brownsville Road. Please be mindful of CDC and government restrictions on public gatherings.
