Husband of the late Marlene J. (Prosser) Scherer.

Beloved father of Gordon D. (Colleen) Scherer, Jr., Jeffrey W. (Diane) Scherer, Timothy J. (Janet) Scherer and Glen A. Scherer.

Loving grandfather of Nicole, Maranda, Alayna and Taylor Scherer and Daniel (Emily), Stephen (Devon) and Caitlyn (Matt) Wirkowski.

Brother of Lois Baker, Carol Gundrum, Linda Haslett, and the late Joyce Korbett.

Family and friends received Friday from 2-8 PM at the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at&10 AM.

Masks are required and please practice social distancing.

Interment Birmingham Cemetery.
