Age 87, of Carrick, Pittsburgh, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Son of the late George R. and Margaret McComb. Beloved husband ofthe late Margaret Ann McComb. Husband of Denise DeLuca. Loving father of George (Patti) McComb, Paul (Suzanna) McComb, Cynthia Boehme, Rebecca (James) Bassano, and the late Susan (Rick) Simcic. Grandfather to George, Lisa, Jamie, Kasey, Kevin, Kate, Candace, Maggie, Valerie (deceased), Tara, and Lienna. Great grandfather to Macie, Emma, George, Nathan, Julia, Daniel, River, Olivia, Lylah, and Brantlee. Brother of Delores (Ken) Tomita and the late Patricia Kutzer. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews. George proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a very proud Pittsburgh Police officer for 26 years and a retired zone commander. He was a member of F.O.P. Lodge # 1. Visitations Friday 2-8 PM at the Boron Funeral Home, Inc. , 1719 Brownsville Road.
