George R. Kavalir, age 77, passed peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday January 19, 2023 of Hookstown, PA, formerly of Carrick.

Beloved husband of Karen (Lynch) Kavalir.

Loving father of Dawn (George) Gailey, Kim Kavalir and Keith Kavalir.

Cherished grandfather of Austin and Bryce Allison, Jada Gailey and Cora Kavalir

Brother of Phyllis (Maurice) DeSimone and the late Frank J. Kavalir.

Also survived by nieces and nephews.

George was a construction engineer for the power plants for many years, loved his antique cars, enjoyed his coffee and donut at Mac's Donuts with his friends, but his most cherished moments was spending time with his family.

Family and friends received Monday 2-8 PM at the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick, where Funeral Prayers will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM.

Interment South Side Cemetery.
