Beloved son of Lisa Marie Monahan-Marci and Step-Up Dad Mark.
Loving spouse of 18 years to Carla A. Conicella.
Cherished father of Christian Samuel and Gianna Nicole Monahan.
Brother of Stephanie Rhea and Keith Monahan.
Lifelong friend and brother Shaun Miller.
Uncle of Dominic Saunders, Anthony Poljak, Louis and Deacon Conicella.
Grandson of the late Samuel and Marilyn Garvey.
Son in law of Debbie (Bill) Luffey and Carmine (Rita) Conicella.
Brother-in-law of Anthony (Amy) Conicella and Christopher (Shandy) Conicella
Also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends received on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 1-8 PM at the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
Over the past several years Gary's focus was to live his best life.& To be a great father for his children and to be present for his family. The love that he and Carla shared was never ending. Gary worked in the field of recovery at Waddington Rehabilitation Center and Light of Life Ministries. Gary had a love for music and even sang with a local band. His love for cooking he shared with his mother Lisa, and they prepared special Holiday Meals together at the Rehabilitation Center which warmed the client's hearts. He was an avid Steeler Fan and attended many games with his Son Christian as they shared a love for Football. Gary was always there to help his Stepdad Mark, a friend and father. They enjoyed fishing trips and doing odd jobs. He has the Biggest Heart; His smile would light up a room. He was a hands-on dad, and his children meant the world to him. He will be missed and loved by all who knew him.
