Frank J. "Frankie" Battista

Age 84, passed peacefully surrounded by the love of his life Carol and his fur baby Juno on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, of West Homestead, originally from East Liberty. Longtime companion of Carol (Whitaker) Jacobs. Beloved Father of Cheryl (Ray) Plewa and the late Frank Battista Jr. Stepfather of Melissa (Pat) Sheehy, Cristie (Tom) Healy. Grandfather of Troy, Tanner Plewa, Ryan, Dylan, Madelyn & Hayden Sheehy. Son of the late Jan & Anna Battista. Brother of Joe (Angie) Battista, Gerri Fiore and the late MaryLou Battista. Also, numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Proud alumni of Westinghouse Bulldogs and played college ball at the University of Arizona. Frankie was a season ticket holder of the Pittsburgh Steelers for many years, loved trips to the casino, playing bocce and cards with his buddies. Visitations Saturday 2-4 & 6- until time of services at 7:30 PM. at& Boron Funeral Home Inc., 1719 Brownsville Road.
