Elvera (Gannon) (Praza) Naberezny

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the age of 99, of Carrick. Known to all as "Elvy" she was the daughter of late Frank and Mamie Gannon and beloved wife of the late Martin Naberezny. Loving Mother to Linda Praza Zemba. Cherished Grandmother to Craig (Michelle) Zemba, Stacy (Bob) McClune, Scott (Becca DelFiandra) Zemba, and Eric (Tricia) Zemba. Beloved Great Grandmother to Jackson, Benson and Addison McClune, Sydney and Zachary Zemba, and Avery Zemba. She was predeceased by siblings Ruth (Fred) Meyers, Esther (Frank) Bridge and Frank (Vera)Gannon. Elvy was also predeceased by beloved companion Lou Cancilla. Elvy worked as a registered nurse for 60 years, 55 of them at the Brentwood Medical Group. Relatives and friends are welcome on Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the Boron Funeral Home Inc. 1719 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15210. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Basil Church of Blessed Trinity Parish on Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Everyone please meet at church. Interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Elvy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
