IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ebenezer M
Singha
January 14, 1947 – July 29, 2023
Dr. Ebenezer M. Singha 76, of Industry left this earth to dwell with Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior, on July 29, 2023.
Ebenezer was born to Joseph David Singha and Louise Schwartz Singha on January 14, 1947, in Lahore, Pakistan.& He was the youngest of 8 children. As a young student, he attended Christian schools in Lahore.
To be close to his beloved family, he moved to Pittsburgh where he taught Science in High School for several years, educating and getting many students interested in science.
Ebeneezer decided to study Osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy in London in 1989. Following this, he moved back to the US where he completed a Family Practice residency at the University of North Dakota Medical School.
Dr. Singha's patience, kindness and self-sacrifice was evident when he left North Dakota to care for his older brother, Samuel who had suffered a severe stroke which left him unable to eat, walk or talk. Ebenezer meticulously and lovingly cared for him for 13 years.
During this time, Dr. Singha started Samuel's Christian Homecare, a domiciliary home care service, with offices in Industry and Vanport. He was generous in many ways throughout his life. He was concerned not only with the health of patients, but also their environments, utilizing profits to provide cleaning, appliances, food or indeed whatever was required for them.
Dr. Singha was also instrumental in bringing several persecuted Christian families from Pakistan to settle in the United States.
Later in life, Dr. Singha focused on his strong Christian faith and was blessed to be able to mentor many others during their faith journeys. He latterly attended Georgetown United Methodist Church and was a member of ROCKS, a Christian men's group.
He leaves behind many relatives in the North America and the Europe. Dr. Singha will be buried alongside his beloved family in South Side Cemetery. A thanksgiving service will be held on Wednesday, August 16, at 6:30 p.m. at Georgetown United Methodist Church, Market Street, Georgetown, PA with Pastor Chuck Adkins officiating.
