Darla Jean Tragesser

Age 67, of Pittsburgh, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 2, 2021. She was born on April 13, 1954. Daughter of the late Earl and Alice (Germuska) Tragesser. Sister to Dennis and Sharon Tragesser, Tony and Diane (Tragesser) Cancilla and the late Linda (Derbish) Tragesser. Wonderful loving Aunt to Deana and Danielle Cancilla, Allison, Andrea and Andrew Derbish, Billy and Gabrielle (Falter) Cox and Margaret Thomas. Darla was a very proud Great Aunt to Chelsea Cancilla, Sean Sluganski, Jessica and Billy Cox, Sabrina and Gina Falter, Anthony, Alex, Ashlynn and Edmond Bradyn and Rhorie Cancilla and most proud Great-Great Aunt to the new Haven Jade Sluganski. Darla is a native of Pittsburgh, she also resided in Deerfield Beach, Florida for many years, she leaves behind Very Dear Friends and Family.

For those who were lucky enough to have Darla in their life, they know what a truly wonderful, caring and gracious person she was. Always positive and up-beat Darla saw the bright side of life and was never too busy to listen and help whenever she was needed. She loved her Family and Friends and each and every one of us had been touched by her charm and contagious personality, time and time again. December 2 was a very sad day for all who loved Darla.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Basil Church on Brownsville Road, Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 10:30 AM. Burial immediately following at Saint John Vianney Cemetery on Brownsville Road, Darla will be laid to rest with her Parents, Earl and Alice and her late Sister Linda.
