Christina "Tina" Rothermel (Schemm) of Baldwin passed away 9/14/2021.&

Tina, age 60, has battled illness for over 20 years. Her perseverance to overcome every new life challenge was an inspiration for many of her transplant family. They have said, "She would never let us give up. She pushed us to keep fighting." Tina's strength came from the love of her family, friends and pets.

Tina was part of her son's PTA the entire time he was in school. She was the one to organize family game nights, parties, luaus, birthdays, etc. All to be held at her house. She kept her family bonds strong. Her vacations always included family and friends. She loved us all till the very end.

Tina was born January 5, 1961 to Gail and the late John H. Schemm of Carrick. She is survived by her husband John Daniel Rothermel III, son John Daniel Rothermel IV, sister Diana Lynn Schemm (Laura), brother John M Schemm (The late Paula), her mother in law Betty and the late John Daniel Rothermel Jr., Brother in law Peter Rothermel (Daryl), sister in law Lori Rothermel. Nieces/Nephews Dawn, Nicholas, Ashley, Ja'Nel, Destiny, Pauline, Ivy, Grace, McKenna, Michael, Josiah, O'mari, Thomas, Nayara, Michael, Zion. Pets: Shana, Coca, Tank, Troy, and Hannibal.

Family and friends received Saturday from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM and Sunday 2-4 PM &
6-8 PM at the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick. Funeral Prayers Monday at 10:00AM followed by a Funeral Service at11 AM in the Brentwood Presbyterian Church.

Family requesting in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Brentwood Presbyterian Church 3725 Brownsville Road, Pgh PA 15227.
