Barbara A. (Bova) Menzel, age 84, of Carrick, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of 64 years to Ronald C. Menzel.

Loving mother of Rhonda (Jim) Fajerski, Christine (Gary) Gallis and Michelle (Jim) Kaczorowski.

Cherished grandmother of Joe (Hallie) and Sam Fajerski, Drew, Evan and Megan Gallis and James (Stephanie), Tom (Juliana) and Kasey Kaczorowski.

Adored great grandmother of Norah.

Sister of Gail Lang, Peter (Dink) Bova and Marc Bova.

Barb lived for her family. &She built a loving home rich with memories, children, and grandchildren. Barb was an excellent cook and there was always room for another chair at the famous Sunday spaghetti and meatball dinners. Barb loved the family trips to the beach and the motorhome caravans to summer NASCAR weekends. Above all, Barb was always looking for the fun in life, bringing out the best in people and putting a smile on a friend's face.

Family and friends received Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick.

Funeral Prayers Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM, St. Basil Church, Blessed Trinity Parish, 1735 Brownsville Road Pittsburgh, PA 15210. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH)

Interment National Cemetery of The Alleghenies,1158 Morgan Road Bridgeville, PA 15017 Monday, September 11, 2023, at 2 PM. (EVYERONE MEET AT CEMETERY).
