Angelo Joseph "Ang" Tortoreti

Age 95, on Friday, September 13, 2024, passed away peacefully at home in Mt. Washington, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Linda (Capannelli) Tortoreti. Father of Donna (late Gary) Lowman, Russell (Connie) Tortoreti, and Anne (Charles) Heil. Grandfather "Pap" of Gary (Carrie) Lowman Jr, Michael (Andrea) &Lowman, Lori Lowman, Russell (Cheryl) Tortoreti, Tricia Tortoreti, James (Jaecee) Tortoreti, Nick (Valera) Long, late David Long, Joseph (Susanne) Long, and Lizzy (Graydon) Crawford. Great "Old Pap" of Angel, Gary III, Mikayla, Russell, Vincent, Cassidy, Tegan, Tatum, Skylar, JJ, and Celina. Great Great "Old Pap" of Isaiah. Angelo is preceded in death by his three sisters and five brothers. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. His passing has left a massive hole in our hearts. He was the godfather of the family and showed unconditional love with every encounter. He was very generous and kind, and everyone was "baby" to him. He taught all how to live by enjoying special moments. He had an amazing sense of humor, could take a joke, and enjoyed the thrill of a win at the track. He wrote personal poetry that meant the world to his kids and letters to the editors (that were never published). Pap will be forever missed and loved by his family and friends. Visitation at the Boron Funeral Home, Inc. , 1719 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh PA 15210 on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 2 to 8 PM, also where a Service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers and in remembrance of Ang, memorial donations may be made to his favorite charity, St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, or to a charity of your choice.
