Alice (Papeaka) Lewellen
Age 98, of Carrick, passed peacefully on angles wings to be with the Lord on Friday, July 17, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Harry "Maxie" Lewellen, devoted loving Mother to Harry Lewellen (Mary Jo Yoest), Patricia Beyer (Joe), Kathleen Ferrari (Dan), Carol Korbe (John), Arlene Bonanni (Curt), the late Richard Lewellen, Alice Krawczyk (Paul), Pete Lewellen (Tracy Guinn). Proud grandmother of 16, and numerous great grandchildren. Survived by 1 sister, Evelyn Walles, predeceased by her parents Peter and Marcella (Zillonis) Papeaka, 2 brothers,&and 8 sisters. Alice was a devoted member of the Knights of Lithuania, member/volunteer at the Eldorado Senior Center, and volunteer at St. Basil's Church. Alice enjoyed playing cards/bingo, and family reunions. Family to receive visitors at Boron Funeral Home, Inc. , 1719 Brownsville Road on Sunday 2-8 PM. Due to CDC regulations visitors of 25 at a time will be enforced. Masks and social distancing required. Funeral Prayers on Monday at 10 AM. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish at St. Basil Church at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God, 3753 Library Road, Suite 250, Pittsburgh PA 15234.
