Dear Lynn,
It deeply saddens me to hear of your passing. You will forever remain in my thoughts, remembered for the kindness and dedication you showed as you taught me oceanography. Your ability to sense when I needed help in class and your talent for boosting my self-esteem were truly remarkable. I will always treasure our lunches together and the meaningful conversations we shared with my daughter.
Rest in peace, my dear teacher and friend.

I'm am deeply saddened today as I wished Lynn a Happy birthday not knowing she had passed from this current life. We shared birthday fun for many years. She was a Professor of mine at El Camino College here in Torrance.. She was always helpful and so aware when her students need extra knowledge from her.
