Fred P. Burger, Jr.
Age 90, on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, of Carrick. Beloved husband of the late Corrine (Davin) Burger. Father of Connie Burger, Cathy (Henry) Berendowski, Fred (Mary Joyce) Burger III, Carolyn Burger, and Chris (Dave) Linder. Proud Pap of Sarah and Michael Berendowski. Brother of Mary Lou Wilhelm of SC and the late Elmer Burger, Rose Rupert, and Helen Bantley. Fred was a life long resident of Carrick. After serving in the Navy during World War II, he worked, then owned Burger Real Estate and Insurance Agency on Brownsville Road, helping the community for over 50 years. He served on the Board of Directors at Parkvale Bank for 31 years. Fred was a life long member of St. Basil Parish and the Catholic Men's Association at St. Paul Monastery. Visitations Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Boron Funeral Home, Inc., 1719 Brownsville Road. Funeral Prayers on Monday at 10:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Parish at St. Basil Church at 10:30 AM. The family would like to thank Bethany Hospice for the wonderful care they gave Fred during this difficult time.
