To Mary Ann’s family – We are so sorry for your loss of a truly wonderful and special person! We became friends of Mary Ann and Richard many years ago when they were customers of ours at the floor-covering store and just kept in touch and prayed for them as Richard fought his cancer and then Mary Ann with her cancer struggles. Mary Ann was so courageous in her battles and whenever we met up with her in church or in the grocery store, she always downplayed her own health challenges and always seemed more interested in our minor (compared to hers) health issues. She was a great lady and I don’t believe we need to worry about where she is now….God IS holding her in the palm of His hand!

Today we lost our Grandmother, Mary Ann Lawton. She always reminded me of the fictional character "Mary Poppins" because she was "practically perfect in every way."
